Vocabulary
We hope you're having a fantastic day! In our classroom, we are starting to work on some special words that we want to share with you: 'Like' and 'You'
Like - 'Like' is a word we use when we talk about things we enjoy or things that make us happy. For example, if you enjoy playing with your favorite toys, you can say, 'I like my toys!' We use 'like' when we talk about things that make us smile.
You - 'You' is a word we use when we talk about someone else, like your family, friends, or teachers. For example, when you talk to your child, you can say, 'I love you!' We use 'you' when we want to talk to someone.
Practice At Home
Here's a fun way to practice these words at home:
Sit with your family and take turns saying things you 'like' about each other.
You can say, 'I like that you make me laugh,' or 'I like that you read me stories.'
We hope you have a fantastic time practicing these words together.
Remember, 'you' are special, and we 'like' having your child in our classroom!
